When most people hear Rob Lisle, they think Insight Homes. The company started in 2006 as an experiment to "build a better house". For the last five years, Insight has been rated as one of the top 200 builders in the country for volume and is in the top 1% in the country for energy efficiency. Insight has delivered close to 2,000 homes since its start.
Building homes naturally led Rob into developing land. Currently he has over 1,000 lots in some stage of development and contracts with several national builders.
Currently consisting of Parson’s Lake in Salisbury, Maryland, Rob started this company to promote moving customers out of rentals and into single family homes. These homes are the only green certified, zero energy ready homes in the rental industry on the shore.
The first company Rob was deeply involved in was Epic Manufacturing. The company was started in 1986 by Rob's parents. In 2010, Rob bought the company, which manufactures and supplies hydro seeders and straw blowers to the international market. Epic is what originally instilled in Rob the benefits of mass producing and duplication.
Through the process of growing Epic Manufacturing, Rob stumbled into the world of commercial/industrial real estate. To date he owns five business parks with square footage totaling over half a million.
This company was originally a tenant in one of Rob's buisness parks. Focal Point manufactures and owns patents for easy to install DIY trim, crown moulding and various architectural accents. This entity grew from the consolidation on four companies (CDM, Focal Point, RAS Industries, and Lifetime Poly Millwork) and has exclusive licensing agreements with Colonial Williamsburg and other similar organizations. These items are sold through Home Depot and Amazon.
